10/14/2004 05:55:00 PM|W|P|Bradley Jones|W|P|Ok, so I'm actually not that fond of Maryland yet, but it is growing on me. I am moving here after I get out of the Army. So, I guess I better learn to like it. So far I haven't really accomplished much towards my job finding. Almost everyone that I have wanted to talk to is on TDY or since I didn't call them the day I got here are leaving the day after I call them. I am really hoping that I can get something accomplished. I have faith that I can. Well, I have definately been relaxing some and have gone a few places also. Like, I got to go into the Pentagon. Didn't really do much there but do a little shopping in their mall area. Elizabeth and I started to wander around some but then she got nervous and didn't want to get in trouble for being in an area we weren't supposed to be in. I only had a visitor badge, which i got to keep, and figured it was probably best if we didn't wander also. I visited Elizabeths work place which was nice so I could see were she works. As for food and alcohol, well, I have been pigging out on the food when I go to a restaurant. I forgot how many choices there were. At the movies I got Twizzlers, Nacho's, an Icee and a coke. Needless to say I didn't feel too well at the end of that movie. My Mom and her fiance' Bob arrive in Baltimore today and are staying over the weekend. I hope we all have fun. I'm sure we will. Well, I need to get going so I can pick up my Mom from the airport. I will write again once she leaves. Sounds good, was du so machst. Endlich raus aus der Armee und ein bisschen Freiheit "schnuppern". Schön, dass es dir so gut gefällt und du nach langer Zeit mal machen kannst, was dir willst. Nach so viel Wüstensand ist wohl alles eine willkommene Abwechslung. Ich wünsche dir auch weiterhin noch viel Spass im Urlaub, mit Elisabeth und natürlich eine grosse Protion Glück bei der Jobsuche.

Normaly I would leave here by convoy and go somewhere else and take a quick flight to my departure spot but...., there is the possibility that I will have to convoy with another company. I'm not going into much detail on it but will enlighten many of you when I see you. I won't be able to email for a couple of days while I'm enroute but will email and post a message when I get to Baltimore. Well, talk to you all then.
